Wellness Habits That Take Less Than One Minute

You definitely have time for these.

We all have a limited amount of time, which makes it hard to allocate an hour or two a day to your health and wellness — particularly if you’re a busy person.

However, investing in your own wellbeing is worth every minute you spend on it. And with these minute-long habits, there’s little excuse.

  • Drink a full glass of water first thing in the morning. This rehydrates your body, could improve mental performance, and can help you wake up.
  • Breathe. If you have an Apple Watch, there’s a built-in app for this. Otherwise, just set a one-minute timer and just breathe deeply.
  • Practice gratitude. Keep a notebook by your bed and write down one thing you’re grateful for every night. Reflect on this list when you’re feeling down.
