I always try to incorporate Pranayama into my practices, as well as mindfulness or Dharana. Every now and then, I'll try to tie a cue back to the Yamas or Niyamas, or even use a specific Yama and Niyama as a class theme!
And I absolutely hear you. I think the trick, in my experience, is to drop little tidbits of philosophy without making it feel like a lecture. A great time to do this is during poses you hold for longer periods of time, like a half-pigeon.
